Up top, a Berber salon sits in the shade of a reed pergola, with woven leather benches, climbing greenery and low tables for mint tea. Beyond it the open terrace runs out into the sun, laid with striped loungers where the afternoon slides by over the rooftops of the medina. It is the part of the house that earns the long, unhurried evening.
Five rooms, five moods
No two rooms repeat themselves. One wears a wall of blousy florals against exposed brick and a hammered-brass charger; another keeps a teal patterned headboard under dark ceiling beams; a third climbs to a mezzanine over its own bed. Painted doors, iron lanterns and tasselled throws recur, but each room is dressed as its own small world, made for a couple rather than a crowd.
We really liked everything. The place was very nice, beautifully decorated, and very clean. Unfortunately, we couldn’t try the breakfast because we had to leave early, but everything else was great.

Great place to stay inside Medina. Close to all the actions in Medina. The Owner is very nice and very helpful. The Staff Ayman and Abdelraheem were very helpful and provided an awesome service. I highly recommend this Riyad.
