This list started with five people and a birthday. Every booking site would take the money, and every one of them offered two rooms.
We counted why. A room for four exists at about two thirds of the places we hold. A room for five at one in twelve, a room for six at one in sixteen, a room for eight at one in fifty. The wall is at five, and no booking site lets you ask for it.
The information was there all along. Every room, apartment or house in the booking data has a maximum number of guests and a list of its beds. So we sort every place by the biggest unit it has. A villa for twelve also shows up when you search for five.
We check both numbers, because either one alone can lie. The guest limit alone once called a standard double a room for nine. The bed list alone would count a whole floor. Together they describe a room a group can actually sleep in.
Hostels are not listed. A dorm sleeps a group by design, and that is a different kind of holiday.
A group stay here means one room, apartment, villa or house that sleeps your whole group in one booking. We check two things in the booking data: the guest limit of that unit and the beds in it. Two rooms of four are not a room for eight.
Who’s behind this?
A small independent operator in Prague, Czech Republic. No investors, no content team, no office: one person and a machine that reads booking records all day.
All Group Stays is one of several single-subject directories run the same way. Each answers one question about a hotel and answers it from the record rather than from a brochure, which is only possible because the reading is automated and the question is narrow.

Where we’re going with this
All Group Stays is a small project with one job: to cut the search from an evening of open tabs to a few minutes.
The plan for the next few years: to be the place people go the moment they are more than four and want one booking instead of five.

How we pay for this
Booking happens on allgroupstays.com. You choose a room, enter your details and pay in one checkout, on this site, for the price shown.
Behind that checkout, a supplier partner supplies the live rooms, rates and photographs you see, and pays us a small commission once you stay. You never leave this site to book, and the price is the same either way.
No hotel pays to be listed, and nobody can buy a place at the top. The words on a house’s page are ours, built from what the house itself publishes rather than from a supplier’s sales copy; the rooms, rates and photographs are supplied live by our booking partner.
