Set on a working plot of certified Agricultural Tourism land, the retreat grows much of what reaches the table: fruit trees, vegetable patches and a medicinal-plant garden threaded with mindful walking paths. The terraces spill down the hillside toward the sea, and the scenic Levada Nova da Calheta trail runs right past the door, ready to be followed in either direction before breakfast.

Behind each carved wooden nameplate is a room designed to feel like a welcoming refuge rather than a hotel. Courage sets a mounted surfboard against a deep teal wall; others layer terracotta, ochre and forest green against pale walls and warm timber floors.
