Every room works from the same calm palette — warm marble underfoot, soft white walls, a headboard the colour of sand and a throw picked out in sage, terracotta or navy. Wall sconces throw light up and down rather than glaring overhead, a Nespresso machine and kettle wait on a stone ledge, and a slim mirror and framed print finish the wall. The idea is comfort first, with nothing to distract from the quiet.
The kitchen suites
Beyond the doubles, the larger suites open into a proper apartment: an equipped kitchen with a hob, oven and full fridge, a dining table and a sofa gathered under an abstract canvas, all on the same bright marble floor.
