The accommodation runs from the smaller standard rooms up to the two-bedroom Nest Suite, with the Serenity, Swallow and Selection suites in between. The Swallow comes with an outdoor mini pool and the Selection with a private one, each set on its own terrace. Whatever the size, the palette stays quiet — marble, wood and white cotton — and the balcony frames the same endless blue of the Cretan sea.

The building is a cluster of low white cubes threaded with lawns, planted borders and a still reflecting pool at the entrance. Palms line the walkways, and the whole property sits directly on the fine sand of Platanias beach — five hundred metres from the village and around nine kilometres from the Venetian harbour of Chania town.
