The pool villas
Behind the sliding glass, each villa holds its own plunge pool and a stone soaking tub set among the greenery. The bedrooms open straight onto the deck, blurring the line between the room and the rainforest; the beds face the water and the kitchens are fully equipped for the mornings you would rather not leave. Privacy is deliberate here, the villas spaced so that the only company is the wildlife and the sound of the jungle.
Above the Pacific
The living spaces are built around the view. From the sofa or the kitchen island you look past the infinity pool to the coastline far below, where the surf line at Uvita meets the horizon. In the evening the whole ridge turns gold and the water seems to spill over the edge into the trees. It is the kind of outlook that makes leaving the villa feel entirely optional.

We loved our stay at Golden Pineapple Villa. Jesse and Oval went above and beyond for us from the moment we arrived- or tried to arrive. Believe me when I say you need a 4 wheel drive. Otherwise you will get stuck...

Overall the property and service was excellent! Clean place and great views of the coast. Make sure that you rent a 4 wheel drive vehicle to access the property (you will need it as it is a good 5-8 drive up the mountain)!

Each of the three villas has its own infinity pool, so there is no lounger to claim and no one else in the water. Take breakfast out there if the kitchen will bring it.
Uvita, a few minutes down
The beach at Uvita is a short drive down out of the trees. Spend the afternoon on the sand and come back up to your own pool and the forest going quiet around it.
Dinner for two, and beyond
Private and couples dining can be set up in the garden on request, and the house also arranges proposal and wedding packages if that is part of the trip. Worth asking about on the first night, before the days settle into their own rhythm.
