The apartment is located half way from town and beach. The room was very clean and well appointed. The bed was comfy with quality sheets and towels. Rosemary, the onsite manager is very friendly and easy going.

The hot tub spa was at 38'C. It was cleaned and sanitised each day.

Room 114, the double view
Ask for the Suite and the sea comes at you twice — north and south — from a king bed with its own ensuite, plus a fridge and television. It sits in the redone northern wing, and payment is taken in full, upfront, at the time of booking.
Lunch and dinner at the Pacific Bistro
The bistro serves lunch from midday to 2.30pm and dinner from 5.30 to 8pm, every day except Christmas Day, with the same ocean view at the table as from the rooms above. Reservations are recommended, and tables are allocated at the restaurant's discretion, not first come.
Live music, four nights a week
The hotel runs live entertainment four nights a week — check the schedule at the bar before you pick your night. The shared-bathroom rooms nearest the stairs pick up the band through the floor on Friday and Saturday; ask for a room further along if you'd rather not.
No lift, so pack light
Every room is reached by stairs alone from the pub below — there is no lift. If you want to talk through which room suits you before the weekend fills up, the hotel takes bookings by phone on 02 6646 2466 or by email.
