A really 5 star hotel in a poorer country. Other ' 5 star' hotels in Bolivia that we stayed in were not in this league.

The Casa Grande hotel was a great experience. I wasn't there very long but the staff was extremely helpful. The stay began with the taxi driver charging way too much. The doorman was very helpful in getting the price...

What can I say? This hotel was the highlight of our trip - from every aspect! We booked a room with a king bed - we ended up getting a 2 bedroom suite with 2 bathrooms and a kitchenette. Wi-fi was superb in the room....

Gasa Grande is a fine hotel in a convenient part of La Paz. It's new larger hotel plans seem superb. Hope it becomes a reality!
